The sethawadiya experience- we are a Eco lodge located between the salt pans and the lagoon. We would like our guests to enjoy a back to basics approach to life and to experience the ambience of cool breezy night breathing fresh air while enjoying the  silence of the night without the disturbance of fans or air conditioners, or simply gaze at the stars in an unpolluted crystal clear night sky .The climate in Kalpitiya is dry and arid with warm days and cool nights, apart from the extremely rare day there is a constant cool breeze throughout the day and night. We generate most of our power through solar panels and use a generator in the night for the extra power we need during the evening dinner service time. food is prepared fresh from the days catch as we have very limited cold storage and we firmly believe that fresh is best!
